PVC Floors

You can protect your garage, basement, or shop floor by installing a wall to wall PVC floor covering that will protect it from stains caused by oil, grease, antifreeze, salt, paint, or mud. This floor covering is usually coin patterned to avoid slips caused by puddles and is fire resistant. It is easy to cut and install. PVC floor covering will dramatically improve the appearance of any basement or garage and enhance the value of the property. It is very durable and easy to clean.

If you are thinking of buying PVC floor covering, consider the following:

  • PVC flooring is generally manufactured in black, dark green, gray, red and tan. It comes in widths from 7 to 10 feet and in lengths from 15 to 24 feet. Sections of it are easily cut to fit together to give virtually seamless wall to wall coverage.
  • PVC flooring can be used to hide cracks in the floor and serves as a moisture barrier, provides insulation, and reduces noise.
  • The cushioning effect of PVC flooring is especially valuable in the workshop where it reduces fatigue from standing on cement floors for long periods of time.

Because this flooring is water resistant, it can also be used in bathrooms, laundry rooms, pool houses, outdoor kitchens, and outdoor showers.
